Unlike most items showcased in this portfolio, 4boca.com isn’t a publication produced by Massive Impressions for a client. Instead 4boca.com is owned and operated by Massive Impressions.

• The site showcases both local community content while at the same time being a testing ground for online publishing, online community building and online marketing technologies.
• It contains daily aggregated headlines, managed by a proprietary pseudoautomated curation process.
• It contains job listings in Boca Raton via a technology developed by a Massive Impressions’ client: WPJobBoard.
• It contains business listings managed via a plugin developed by Massive Impressions and distributed freely on the global WordPress Directory of Plugins.

Unlike local organizations that charge members steep fees for lesser quality listings, and ask for their members to give time and share contacts openly, 4boca is designed for local business owners who don’t have the time to experiment. (more…)
