Anonymous has been pointing the finger at GoDaddy since SOPA. GoDaddy’s middle-of-the-road, oversized host profile combined with their active lobbying drew them squarely into the crosshairs of today’s most notorious hacker network.

Without taking an “I told you so” approach, we can proudly say that we don’t use or recommend GoDaddy. Instead we’ll always recommend the value of smaller, more responsive hosts. Ours, Acenet, is large enough to offer economies of scale yet small enough to offer customer service that the larger hosts can’t. If you are one of the victims of the attack on GoDaddy consider switching to Acenet or a similar company.
